haha, that's pretty funny, but in a sad kind of way. I enjoy certain vampires books, don't get me wrong, but there are other types of books to enjoy and they should be appreciated for what they bring that is different, Fahrenheit 451 being a classic.
I saw the first two movies. Was... stunned. But not in a good way. The acting, the script were found wanting. The cinematographer did a good job, though. I also didn't really "get" it, I think. I love vampire-related stuff, but this just didn't click for me. Maybe you have to read the novels...
I made the mistake of seeing the first Twilight movie as well. My god, they were the wimpiest vampires to ever grace the silver screen. I do get the cartoon though. There are too many vampire books on the market right now.
Good thing the kid didn't say "no sparkly vampires"!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI've, um, never read any Bradbury...

I've not read Twilight, either, mind.
Neither have I, Stefan! Not Bradbury, to my shame, or Twilight (not to my shame)!
