But, at the time, I was also blitzing through some of the older Prey novels, which I much preferred. Given the (at the time) strangely delayed UK publishing schedule for the Virgil Flowers series, I guess they just faded from my mind. Then S&S started publishing them closer to the US dates, and I started adding them to my Wish List, etc. But, given tight funds, I only got around to buying Heat Lighting and Rough Country. I'm hoping to get caught up this year.

He really is a superb author, and I've loved everything he's written so far. 'Heat Lightning', in particular, is pretty dang awesome. Sandford is one of my favorite writers. I re-read his stuff on a regular basis and never get tired of it. One of my favorite political thriller authors is Adrienne LaCava. I just finished reading her latest book, "No One Can Know" that takes place during the JFK assassination. The book contains an interesting cast providing various perspectives on 1960’s issues- awesome book!

http://adriennelacava.com/Beckynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25675853.post-71172553184334530742013-10-09T06:49:00.615+01:002013-10-09T06:49:00.615+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05957358850375701366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25675853.post-83270845571411017722013-10-08T20:07:03.779+01:002013-10-08T20:07:03.779+01:00Has he?
